With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots, especially during evening hours, the Boaz, Alabama City Council has established a "Women's Only" parking lot at the Outlet Mall. Even the parking attendants are female, so that a comfortable and safe environment is created for women patrons. Below is the first picture of this first-ever, women-only parking lot in Boaz, Alabama:
Sam the Eagle Retires to Forsyth County, GA. Sam the Eagle, after an illustrious career on stage and in film, recently retired and moved to Cumming, Georgia. Known for such hilarious movies as "Muppets in Space" and "Muppet Treasure Island", Sam is looking forward to a quiet retirement where he will stand watch at the Colonel's House in a quiet Forsyth County sub-division. Asked about the down side of retirement, Sam commented, "After spending many years with someone's hand up my rear, I kind of miss the attention. That and the other birds in the neighborhood using me as a target."
On the corner of Jones and Shallowford Roads: "Ice Cream & Desserts" and the "Women's Weight Loss Center". I guess in East Cobb County you can have your cake and eat it, too!
